BALLWIN, MO. (KPLR) ? Just after 7:00 pm Tuesday night, two teens ages 10 and 12 years-old were swimming in the Meramec River at Castlewood State Park; when the boys got into trouble, trying to swim against the current in the river.? The boys called out for help and by chance 3 teenagers just happened to be near-by. ?
According to Metro West Fire Department Chief Vincent Loyal, ?Three teens dove into the Meramec, rescuing the boys, pulling the two boys free of the current and brought them to shore.?
