Let's face it, Toni Braxton is the epitome of diva. She has the voice, the looks, and not to mention, the abundance of wigs! The multi-platinum recording artist talked to The Insider about her reality show The Braxtons, if there will ever be an album with her sisters, plastic surgery and if she will reconsider Playboy's offer to pose!
TheInsider.com: The hairstyles on the show are amazing. There are a ton of different looks in one show! Do all the sisters have the same stylist?
Toni Braxton: We have two stylists that work between me and my sisters. Traci and I share one. And we all share the love! Wigs, hair pieces all that! [laughs]
TheInsider.com: Speaking of the show ... will there be a third season?
Toni: I don't know yet. I'm still focusing on this season! I'm having fun. The only thing that causes conflict for me is protecting my brand. I'm a bit aloof, and so showing all of my personal life ... I'm not comfortable with all that. My sister Tamar is though! [Laughs] Tamar is comfortable!
TheInsider.com: Your sisters want to get you in the studio with them. Do you think you will you do a gospel album with your sisters?
Toni: An album is such an emotional process. I have my own point of view about doing an album. You'll be able to see it play out during the season.
TheInsider.com: As the oldest sister, you seem to be the most practical. Sometimes you don't go for your sisters wild ideas. Do you think that translates to you not trying to help them?
Toni: This season people will get a back story on my history with helping my sisters. For example, I got four or five record deals for Tamar. Unfortunately they never worked out.
TheInsider.com: Do you watch yourself on the show?
Toni: I watched the last episode, and I cracked up at it! It was endearing. And Tamar is crazy! It's like, do we have the same parents?! [laughs]
TheInsider.com: Your skin is flawless on the show. How do you look so young?!
Toni: It's because I'm so short! I'm 5'1. I look little next to everyone. I've never had anything done to my face, other than a nose job in the nineties. If I could, I'd get Botox under my eyes, but I can't get anything like that done because I have Lupus.
TheInsider.com:Last season you considered posing for Playboy, but ultimately turned it down. In the wake of Lindsay Lohan doing the cover, will you reconsider?
Toni: I would do Playboy if I didn't have kids. My son is old enough to use the computer and just seeing that they had made the offer, he had questions. I had to explain to him what Playboy was! I don't want to have to go through that again. But I was very flattered that they asked.
